Hollenbach, 49A, 72GE, published "Francis Rosicross," a novel outlining 33 examples of evidence found in sonnets, poems and plays of Shakespeare. Sue Grafton, 61A, announced the publication and book signing of her most recent book, "X," in her alphabet series. Potentially the most chilling novel in her series, the heroine attempts to prove her case before becoming the next victim. Katie Glauber Bush, 72A, published "Queen of the May" in an anthology, "Sib- lings: Our First Macrocosm." Also, her story "Women's Work" appears in "Times They Were A-Changing" and was a 2014 Finalist in the National Indie Excellence Awards. Dr. Barbara Ebel, 82A, 87MD, was awarded the Finalist medal in the 2015 National Indie Excellence Awards for her third Dr. Danny Tilson novel, "Collateral Circulation." Dr. Gaylord G. Brewer, 85A, published his ninth book of poetry, "Country of Ghost," and the cookbook-memoir "The Poet's Guide to Food, Drink, & Desire." Paula L. Ratliff, 90JA, 95GA, authored the second edition of "Crime Prevention for Houses of Worship." It examines crimes that have occurred in places of worship and provides prevention recommendations. Dr. Elizabeth Wardle, 94A, 99GA announced the publication of "Naming What We Know: Threshold Concepts of Writing Studies" which examines the core principles of knowledge in the discipline of writing studies. Dr. Jeffrey C. Fox, 97A, released "The Ultimate Guide to Excellent Teaching and Training: Face-to-Face and Online," a book geared towards anyone interested in becoming or practicing as a teacher. Cristin Harber, 03B, released her latest novel, "Black Dawn," a romantic suspense novel in the bestselling Titan series. The book hit the USA Today and New York Times bestsellers lists. FACULTY Deborah Lutz, the Thruston B. Morton endowed chair in English, wrote "The Brontë Cabinet: Three Lives in Nine Objects" about sisters Charlotte, Emily and Anne, through a series of artifacts from the parsonage where the Victorian literary siblings spent most of their lives. Also published this year was her book "Relics of Death in Victorian Literature and Culture." This listing represents a selection of the books published by Louisville alumni in recent months.
