commencement
Over 1,000 students joined the ranks of University
of Louisville alumni at year's end. On December 18,
more than 850 of them participated in Commence-
ment ceremonies at the KFC Yum! Center. Honorary
degrees were given to Ulysses "Junior" Bridgeman,
Jr., a 1975 graduate of the College of Arts and Scienc-
es and former Cardinal basketball player who played
professionally after college, and his spouse, Doris
Bridgeman, a 1974 College of Business graduate.
