Now & Then Ford Hall Snack Bar
Ford Hall Snack Bar, 1936 The Ford Hall snack bar was a great place to grab a soda with friends in 1936. The University of Louisville banners along with advertisements for soda and cigarettes are a reminder of days past. Named in honor of Arthur Younger Ford, seventh president of the university, Ford Hall is currently used to house the Arts & Sciences Political Science program. Over the years, Ford Hall has been used as a women's dormitory, faculty lounge and even the College Library from 1925–1927.
