Special Announcement From Jimmy Ford I am pleased to announce that I will be pursuing a new and excit- ing opportunity at the University of Louisville as the fi rst director of the new Hank and Rebecca Conn Legacy Society. The Hank and Rebecca Conn Legacy Society is a new offi ce within University Ad- vancement which will focus on sup- porters who have made planned gift arrangements in their estates. I will be directing this effort to increase the visibility and programming in this important area of university steward- ship. For the past 10 years, I have had the honor of serving the University of Louisville as the assistant vice presi- dent for Alumni Relations. We have accomplished a great deal in this time as our alumni population has grown to almost 140,000 strong. I have had the privilege of working with many outstanding people within the university fam- ily, as well as the Alumni Association at large. I look forward to this exciting new opportunity to further promote the university as one of the country's premier metropolitan research institutions. It has been a pleasure serving as your "Alumni Guy." A heartfelt "THANK YOU" to all of you! Jimmy Ford has been UofL's "Alumni Guy" for more than 10 years. —Sincerely, Jimmy Ford
