Coe, 85A, president of Kosair Charities, was honored by the Kentucky Philanthropy Initiative with the Commonwealth Award. Mark Newman, 85MD, Merel H. Harmel Professor in Anes- thesiology, is the new president of the Duke University Medical Center Private Diagnostic Clinic, the Duke faculty practice. Dawn Curtis-Thames, 87A, received the MTh. in Faith and Public Policy from Palmer Seminary, Eastern University, Philadelphia, Pa. Raymond Frye, 87GS, was promoted to executive liaison offi cer at the Louisville District Army Corps of Engineers. Thomas C. Dues, 88A, 93MD, is a professor and chief medical information offi cer at UofL Hospital. He was recently honored as an ACP Hospitalist Top Doc 2014. Angela M. Woodward, 88GB, has been re-elected to the Leadership Kentucky board of directors. 1990s Molly Hemmeter, 90GS, was appointed COO of Landec Corporations in California. Allan H. Lanceta, 91A, director, U.S. cen- tral region, Soldier for Life program for the Chief of Staff of the Army, was promoted to colonel, and selected to attend the Senior Service College. Lynda Anderson, 93A, accepted a position as director of human resources at Columbus State Community College. (William) Eric Howard, 93B, is now executive vice president and chief lending offi cer at Town & Country Bank and Trust Co. Russ Johnson, 94A, is the general manager at the new University of Louisville Golf Club. Jeff Ronniger, 94B, recently relocated to Naples, Fla. Derek Damin, 95A, 99MD, opened Allergy Partners of Louisville, an allergy and asthma specialty practice treating children and adults. Dexter Martin, 95B, founded, and is principal of, 4DPR Strategies of Chicago, a boutique PR fi rm specializing in media relations, sponsorships/ strategic partnerships, and brand content creation. Josephine Layne Buckner, 96A, running for Jefferson County District Judge in Division 8, was a defense attorney for nine years and is assistant Jefferson Co. Attorney in the Child Support Divi- sion. Josephine and her husband, Ravi, 02A, attend St. Stephen Church and live in Shively. Jessica Perry Corley, 96A, 99L, an Alston & Bird attorney, was named to the BTI Client Service All-Stars, nominated for giving the best in client service. Thomas Yankeelov, 96A, was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Medi- cal and Biological Engineering. Joseph M. Smith, 97GE, wrote an essay entitled "A Nation of Givers," published in the new edition of "This I Believe, Kentucky," released in 2013. Edith P. Frakes, 97A, is the draw game manager for the Kentucky Lottery Corp. Tom Keith, 99GB, 00GE, won the Council for the Advancement and Support of Marilyn Reckelhoff-Dippel, 89A, was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and is currently a professional tutor in the academic support offi ce at Vincennes University Jasper Campus. Nance L. Schick, 95E, received an honorable mention in the Enterprising Women magazine's 12th annual Women of the Year Awards. She has practiced private law and mediation for 10 years at The Law Studio of Nance L. Schick in New York City. Education District III Mentor of the Year Award. He is director of development at the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University. Amy Coultas (Real), 99A, was named Canon to the Ordinary for the Episcopal Dio- cese of Kentucky by Bishop Terry Allen White. 2000s Troy Holloway, 00A, is now account executive for WBKI-TV, Louisville's CW network. He has three children, new son Cooper, as well as son Spencer and daughter Kinsley. Daniel Martinez, 01B, 03GB, joined national law fi rm Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, at its Miami offi ce as an associate in the tax department. Jonathan Haycraft, 02GS, is one of the youngest Partners ever at Gresham, Smith and Partners and named the Young Engineer of the Year for the Nashville Chapter of TSPE and for the State of Tennessee. Nathan Jarboe, 02GS, works for Bell Helicopter in Tennessee, designing custom modifi cations for helicopters and performing structural analysis to certify designs with the Federal Avia- tion Administration. He started Schwaniger Enterprises, named after the late Arthur John (A.J.) Schwaniger, 55A. Tendai Charasika, 03S, 09GB, formerly executive direc- tor of Greater Louisville Inc.'s EnterpriseCorp, has accepted the position of CEO at Louisville tech startup SuperFanU. Kelly Buckles Fish, 03A, athletic director at Currey Ingram Academy, was recognized by The National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association as a Certifi ed Athletic Administrator. Eric Brown, 05B, helps company leaders hire people and develop them into effective managers.
