One Exceptional MBA Two Great Universities ExecMBA.biz President Ramsey recognized for West End efforts Louisville Central Community Centers (LCCC) honored President James Ramsey on May 15 with its Lifetime Achievement Award. Sam Watkins, president and CEO of LCCC, said the board "enthusiastically" chose Ramsey because of the "dynamic difference" that UofL is making in the West End through the Signature Partnership Initiative. The initiative, started in 2007, works with community agencies on programs to eliminate or reduce disparities that West Louisville resi- dents experience in education, health, economic development and social services. Humbled by the award, Ramsey said it "really belongs to the faculty, staff and students at UofL" because of their "service to improve the quality of life and economic opportunity for the people of our community and state."
