Today, he serves as Chairman of the Board of United Medical Corporation, which owns and operates San Jorge Children's Hospital, as well as several other successful acute-care hospitals and specialty health care services. Their drive to share their success and blessings with UofL has only grown through the years, with the Dizneys making signif cant contributions to the university last year. Part of their gifts went to support molecular research into gastrointestinal diseases at the Digestive Surgery Research Laboratory, run by Professor of Surgery Susan Galandiuk, MD. The Dizneys are equally passionate about thorough- bred horseracing, and are the owners of Double Diamond Farm, a 550 acre thoroughbred horse farm in Ocala, Fla. They have bred more than 50 stakes horses in the 30-year history of the farm, including First Dude, which ran second in the Preakness and came in third in the Belmont in 2010.
