Indianapolis Alumni
Club reaches milestone
Indianapolis Alumni Club members Rudy and Jeanne Mueller
created a scholarship that helped Kara Augustine (L) earn her
degree in 2012.
The Indianapolis chapter of
the UofL Alumni Association is proud to welcome a
very special new member.
Kara Augustine graduated
cum laude last year with a
degree in nursing and
became the frst recipient of
the Rudy Mueller Scholarship, which was created by
the Indianapolis chapter.
Kara is a proud UofL
graduate just like her father,
Robert, who earned both
his bachelor's and master's
degrees from J.B. Speed
School of Engineering. Kara
works at Jewish Hospital in
Louisville and is pursuing
her goal to become a nurse
practitioner.

FEW CAN BE MARINES.
EVEN FEWER CAN LEAD THEM.
Our officer candidates are rigorously
screened, tested and evaluated for the
moral, intellectual and physical qualities
required to lead Marines in defense of
our nation. If you prove you have what it
takes to become a Marine Officer, the path
of most resistance will lead to a life of
distinction, purpose and honor. Few can
be Marines. Even fewer can lead them.
