Moore, 45MD, a family practice physician in Fern Creek for 46 years, former president of the Baptist Hospital Medical Staff, long-time team physician for the Louisville Colonels baseball team and two-term chairman of the Jefferson County Board of Education, died at the age of 91. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bremen, Ky. He was formerly a member of Beulah Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and also a former member of Anchorage Presbyterian Church. Sue N. Fightmaster, AC, a graduate of Atherton High School, assistant to the dean of engineering at Oakland Univer- sity of Rochester, Mich., attended the University of Louisville and was also a member of Kappa Delta sorority. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Walter J. Fightmaster, 52A, 54GA, and brother-in-law, Don Fightmaster, 58A, an internationally known one-armed golfer and philanthropist. Charles A. Hodapp, 62A, longtime Alameda resident and steering commit- tee member of the San Francisco Bay Area UofL Alumni Club, passed away at age 75. Hodapp was born in Chicago, enlisted in the U.S. Navy twenty years later, and shortly after was an off cers' candidate at the University of Louisville, where he received his degree and Ensign's stripes. Kathleen B. Drummond, AD, past faculty member of the College of Business, died at the age of 95. The Drummond Execu- tive Center at UofL was named in her honor. She also received a BS in business education from Indiana State University, an MS degree from the University of Illinois, and a PhD from Northwestern University. Melvin D. Dickinson, co-founder of the Bach Society with his wife Margaret, died at the age of 77. Dickinson was leader of the organ department at UofL, a force in Louisville's classical music community, and conducted more than 500 artists over hundreds of concerts for the community choral and orchestral ensem- ble with the Bach Society. He received the 2001 Kentucky Governor's Award in the Arts individual artist award for lifetime achievement. Joseph D. Cole, UofL faculty member, died at the age of 74. An electrical engi- neer faculty member beginning in 1974, he also served as acting department chair from 1991 to 1992, associate chair in 1992, served on Faculty Senate for nine years, on numerous Speed School and departmental committees, and received the UofL Alumni Association's Red Apple Award in 2006. Paul W. Pry, 72B, died at the age of 62. A member of the University of Louisville basketball team, he and his teammates played in the NIT from 1970 to 1971 and went onto the Final Four in 1972. He was also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity at UofL. Pry leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Doris, and three children, Lindsay Pry, Kelly Pry and Paul J. Pry.
