But, before he left, we slowed him down just long enough to learn about his love for spaghetti, how he gradu- ated in three years and how he came to embrace the midwest winters. UofL: How tough was it leaving home for college and what was your f rst impression of winter outside of Florida? Bridgewater: It was tough to leave my family, but looking back, it was the best decision I have ever made. It has been a great experience and leaving Florida has taught me so much. On my visit there was snow, but all of us from Florida had fun with it! We had never seen snow before. UofL: Favorite food? Bridgewater: My mom's spaghetti UofL: How do you feel you've grown as a person in the last three years? Bridgewater: I feel like I have grown tremendously. When I f rst got here I was very shy and just focused on becoming a better player. I have really changed a lot though and am much more vocal around my team and others. UofL: When someone asks you to describe your time at UofL, what will you say? Bridgewater: Amazing. My time at UofL taught me more than I ever imagined it could. I met so many wonderful people who helped me become the person I am today. My f rst priority was to get a degree and second was to win championships. I can look back and say that I graduated with a college degree in three years and was a part of a championship football team. In his fi nal game as a Card, Bridgewater earned the MVP trophy at the Russell Athletic Bowl. U L _ 2 2 2 2 UL_22 22 1 / 2 4 / 1 4 9 : 5 4 A M 1/24/14 9:54 AM
