Here's what's on your mind this month:
Winter/Spring 2013 issue
Now & Then – "It's snow much fun…"
Congratulations to all for your most impressive publication. My daughter and
I enjoy every edition. The most recent edition was even more special to me.
I was amazed to see that after all these years I saw my picture! In the "snow"
photo on the last page, the blonde on the right is Doris Dean "Deanie" Lower
and the brunette on the left is Nancy Dorsey Lively. I am in the middle. It was
also another fantastic year for the men's and women's basketball teams. I have
lived in several states since the 1950s but with the help of WHAS radio and
now, the computer, I can keep up with most of the games.
–Norma Ridgway Stokes, 52A
The girls in the "snow"
photo in Now & Then
are all Chi Omegas. The
photo was made by one
of the photographers on
the 1951 "Thoroughbred" yearbook staff, of
which I was the editor.
Thanks for the memory!
Black, 51A, 56GK
Yes, indeed, the girls are
all Chi Omega sorority
sisters (Beta Gamma
chapter) and the boys
are from Lambda Chi,
Feltovich and John
Yarbro. I'm sure
someone will recognize
the third boy.
